BNSF ARGENTINE YARD LMIT - Sanding System Control Replacement

The BNSF Sanding System control replacement included installing a manual bypass system that would allow BNSF full use of the sanding system and crane while work was underway. GAC’s tasks were to label all wires, motors, instruments, and control devices to collect and submit information to engineers for review. We dismantled the existing PLC, installed a new control panel, including all conduit wiring and terminations, and added a new conduit for the Cat 6 network cables from the control panel to the BNSF data rack.
