Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and others to determine project specifications, review drawings for compliance, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Negotiate and manage agreements, draft contracts, and determine needed resources (workforce, equipment, materials) within budgetary limits.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, strategically plan construction operations, and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
  • Review and approve schedules, financial projections, and project costs, accurately forecasting revenue and profitability.
  • Implement and audit Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and safety standards to minimize risks.
  • Evaluate progress, prepare detailed reports, and administer the Submittal Review process to facilitate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven expertise as a construction project manager with proficiency in construction procedures, materials, project management principles, and relevant software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
