Amtrak ADA Stations Program – Newbern-Dyersburg, TN

Newbern-Dyersburg, TN

The renovation of the Newbern-Dyersburg Amtrak station focuses on achieving full ADA compliance and enhancing accessibility for all passengers. The project involves removing non-compliant platforms, walkways, and infrastructure replacing them with ADA-compliant reinforced concrete platforms, accessible sidewalks, and egress paths that meet ADA and NFPA standards.

Upgrades include the installation of new handrails, guardrails, and compliant signage to improve safety and navigation. Restrooms and entryways will be modernized with ADA-compliant fixtures, hardware, and accessibility features. Enhanced lighting on platforms and throughout passenger areas will increase safety and usability.
