Girl Scouts of America

Joliet, IL

The Girl Scouts of America facility was a newly constructed facility that hosts administrative and meeting areas for the Girl Scouts Trailway Council. The competitively bid project was seriously over budget, and GAC was instrumental in finding value-engineered solutions to bring the excess costs in line with the budget. GAC presented the owners with alternate options, valued at one million dollars, for installation. The substitutions did not change the quality or size of the building and ultimately saved the owner over $600,000.
