Metra 153rd Street Station
Orland Park, IL
The Metra 153rd Street Station included constructing a new 700-space parking lot, access road, and pedestrian tunnel and ramp. GAC developed the 30-acre site by excavating 30,000 cubic yards of earth and creating an access road for construction. The improvements included constructing a new asphalt parking lot, concrete curbs, sidewalks, site lighting, landscaping, and signage. GAC built a new pedestrian tunnel, beneath the existing tracks, with ADA-accessible ramps for disabled passengers.
